ABOUT ME

I am Salumon Mathunny Yohannan (Salu Adoor), a purpose driven pastor, theological teacher, writer, and motivational speaker. Thank you for becoming a part of my world and taking a break from the chaos of life to experience something new.  I started blogging to combine a love of writing, since then it’s developed into a passion to offer a platform for little-known talent. Though, I intend to focus on something different, as time permitted I would like to share some of my thoughts and experiences. Hopefully, for some, they can be an inspiration and guidance to reach their exact destination. Take the weight off of your feet for a while and find something blissful about your day.

I was brought up in Kerala, a land of natural beauty known as God’s Own Country, which is located in the southern part of India. I spent my formative years in history school and then turned to Biblical studies. My theological education includes a bachelor of divinity (BD) and a master of theology (MTh) in New Testament from Serampore University in Calcutta, India.

I am married to Blessy K Oommen and blessed with three kids- Joshua, Johanna and Jemima. Presently we are in Kuwait and doing service in the Master’s vineyard.

I am so grateful for the support from visitors to my blog. The Salu Adoor blog is an ever-growing, ever evolving entity, and my wish is to continue to provide a great service and a devotional and an intellectual treat to my readers, writers and bloggers everywhere.  Comments always welcome. Enjoy...!
